Contact us

Rye, CO

Hello, Thank you for visiting our webpage! We are a 100% volunteer run home-based shelter, which means our volunteers also work full time jobs and have family commitments so please be patient and give us a chance to respond! Before contacting us please read:

Please do not message us until you have read these guidelines: Due to the increased number of requests to take in dogs, we will no longer be responding to messages unless they are in compliance with these guidelines.  We need to focus on the dogs in our rescue and taking time away from our dogs to respond to 50+ messages per week is not in our dogs best interest!

Adopters: If you are interested in adopting one of our available dogs we would love to hear from you, however the first step in our adoption process is to fill out an application which can be found on our main webpage under the pictures of our adoptable dogs!  If we have available puppies they will also be listed with our adoptable dogs!  Please read our dog's info by clicking on the picture and check for compatibility (dog, cat, kids etc..) before applying.  Before contacting us or filling out an application please take the time to consider that adopting a dog is a 12-15+ year commitment!

Shelters:
We currently already have transfer partners and can't keep up with the needs of these shelters! Unfortunately we can't accept any more transfer partners or requests at this time!

Owner Surrenders:
We are no longer taking owner surrenders! We are not a rehoming service!  Our rescue's mission is to save dogs from abusive situations and  from high kill shelters where they have no other option except euthanasia.  You are your dog's voice and you have the power to make decisions for your dog; however the dog's in high kill shelters have no advocates, so we are theirs!!! Our dedication needs to be towards these dogs.  We can't keep up with endless owner surrender requests as well as daily euthanasia lists.  As your dogs own personal advocate, hire a trainer, make time for your dog, don't move where your dog is not allowed, look at every possible avenue to keep your dog in your home!
